Gabriel Angio and Natalia Games

Winners of the prestigious Hugo del Carril Competition, they went on to perform in renowned venues like Sunderland, Salón Canning, Teatro Colón, Classic Open Air Berlin, and the World Dance Festival in Tokyo, as well as on stages worldwide across Europe, the U.S., Asia, and Australia.
As innovators, they founded Plan B, blending tango with breakdance. In Buenos Aires, they established “New Generation Tango,” offering weekly classes at Salons Gricel and Canning and leading seminars in venues such as Parakultural, Galería del Tango, Theater Arlequines, Club Almagro, Centro Cultural Ricardo Rojas, and Salon Salamanca. MILONGAS VENUES
We will dance in historic places at heart of Oslo. All venues have original parquet, renovated 2 years ago, good sound and special atmosphere.
Håndverkeren Galleriet
Handverkeren Galleriet is a fresh space where old traditions meet new ideas. With Oslo’s best sound system and a touch of Scandinavian minimalism, it creates the perfect setting for tango. The dancers’ passion fills the room, standing out beautifully against the clean and modern surroundings.
Håndverkeren Festsalen
In the historic hall of Handverkeren Festsalen, where generations have gathered to celebrate art, music, and community, tango finds a natural home. We will revive this tradition with every step—melding the passion of Buenos Aires with the elegance and cultural heritage of one of Oslo’s most cherished venue.
Halvorsens Conditori
Halvorsens Conditori is one of Oslo’s oldest and most beloved cafés, where history, tradition, and sweet delights come together. For generations, guests have gathered here to enjoy freshly baked cakes and pastries in its charming surroundings. In recent years, the café has also become home to tango milongas—starting just three years ago—adding a new rhythm and warmth to this historic place.
TDJs
TDJ Vegard
Vegard has been interested in music and dance most of his life, and started learning tango 22 years old in Trondheim. For many years he kept the tango flame burning slowly in northern Norway together with is wife Kirsten. In 2022, the couple decided to make tango a larger part of their life, and they moved to Buenos Aires with their kids for 6 months. Since then, they have studied traditional tango with Natalia Games and Gabriel Angio. The couple currently lives in Tromsø where they share tango and music on a weekly basis.
Vegard loves the golden age of tango music and lyrics, and you can be sure he will play a D’Agostino/Vargas tanda in any milonga
TDJ Manuel Frantz
Manuel has played at hundreds of milongas across Europe, as well as at marathons and festivals in Austria, Germany, Greece, Korea, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine. In 2018, he won the jury award of the first Play2Play@Remolino DJ competition, standing out among more than 50 DJs.
Having started with tango and as a DJ in Munich in 2014, Manuel has been based in Bern, Switzerland since 2020, after nearly two years in Berlin. Alongside his work as a DJ, he has studied traditional tango with Gabriel Angio and Natalia Games as well as Gabriel Missé.
As a DJ, Manuel loves bringing the golden orchestras of the 30s to 50s to life on the dance floor. He enjoys creating a flow that balances energy and rhythm with deep, emotional drama, and always adds a touch of atmosphere with carefully chosen cortinas. Sound quality, heart, and an eye for the lyrics are at the center of his musical choices.
TDJ Mariano Pignatiello
Mariano Pignatiello was born in Buenos Aires in 1978. He is a tango teacher and visual artist, educated at the University of the Arts in Argentina. Today, he lives and teaches in Norway.
As a tango DJ, Mariano sees himself more as a milonguero who chooses music than as a DJ—he selects each song as if he were going to dance to it himself. He plays only the music he loves, with a special affection for the classical orchestras, but also with great joy for new and modern tango ensembles that keep the soul of the music alive.
His style is about creating a festive atmosphere—romantic, rhythmic, and full of energy. For Mariano, the milonga is a celebration, and his music is an invitation to enjoy it to the fullest.
